yes, because in all other wars we only have one side of the war. in this both sides were american so it doubled the deathc ount.

In the U.S? yes it was. Out side of it no. The Vietnam war was the bloodiest war that America was ever in.

Consider this as an example.
In the 11 years we were in Vietnam we lost just over 58,000 casulties. At Gettysburg, during the Civil War, there were that many in 3 days of battle.

It just depends on who you ask on US soil yes.. Many brothers killed each other that is why the President said a house divide can not stand.... That was a Republican too. Actually WWII did bet it over 1.5 million died in the south Pacific that was both... before the 2 atomic bombs were dropped... Over 7 million in Europe.. On D day about 4 thousand died that Day and A Democrat sent us in for that...

Yes it is. There were tons of casualties: all American!
Slaves died, free men died, women and children were killed. It was a horrible war.
