i want to change the name on my home ;page,how can i do this, or can it be done,or do i need to get a new computer or what? thank you for any and all advice,

yes,it is a yahoo page,this is the name you see here, the name i signed on the computer with, and i would like to change it,or can it be changed,thank you for telling me to add these details

have i asked the wrong question, can i change the e-mail address, and the name on my profile,and remove it from my yahoo home page, i want to continue to use yahoo as my home page, but a different e-mail address when i sign on, can this be done, please exlain ,,,,,, and thank you

What home page are you talking about? More details please. Is it a yahoo home page or something like that?
OK - Click on the icon at the top left corner to go to your homepage. Then Click "Edit My Info" just below your name. Then it will ask if you want to use your yahoo id or specify another name. Good Luck!

If you are referring to the page that displays when you first open Internet Explorer....
Click on "Tools" in the menu
Select Internet Options
In the box near the upper left typing in the page you want for your home page.
If that is not what you mean, please edit with more detail....

yes it can be done. on your internet explorer window go to tools then to internet options and where it says home page input the home page you want for example www.google.com, www.msn.com get the picture. then click on apply and ok or just in ok. there you are done. to test it click on the "home (the house) on your toolbar and it should take you to the home page you choosed
