My son in law and I were discussing this today. In my day, if a guy shaved anything but his face or head, he was ~weird~!!! He says it is common today for men to shave body hair. How many men out there do this?

I remember over 20 years ago that the only person I knew who shaved body hair off was a swimmer who attended my high school. Nowadays it is quite normal for guys to shave/wax/laser body hair. Much like some men can't stand body hair on women, many women now feel the same way about body hair on men(or maybe always did, but were too polite to say anything about it) and expect their guys to be clean shaven... EVERYWHERE... and yes I mean everywhere.

A woman's point of view: I think body hair is sexy! (And, yes, back hair too--what's wrong with it?) I would be VERY turned off by a guy who was bald all over. It would be like cuddling up to a little boy or a chemotherapy patient. (Okay, if my guy had to have chemo, I'd still love him. But I'd be eager for the hair to return) It just seems pervy when guys shave their body hair, especially their balls -- eeeeeeww!

When I was growing up only swimmer shaved their chest (legs and arms in some cases). But today it seems more acceptable and typical. I don't see the point but to each his own.

I dont think of so. men like being men. Hair below the armpits is a typical factor for men. Its evidence that theyre masculine. Ever ask your self why teenage boys examine their armpits (between different areas) for hair? Its a demonstration that your transforming into up and starting to be a guy. On spectacular of that, shaving reasons hairs to thicken and strengthen swifter. Majority of fellows are unlikely to wish to handle that on spectacular of their faces (and for another areas). Plus men sweat of their armpits a lot. Hair transforming into decrease back in itches like loopy, upload sweat to that and its no longer a chuffed concern. So no i dont think of so. It wont substitute into mainstream.

I will give you a womans point of view. Most agree that a hairy back is the nastiest. Nair that PLEASE. Keep the hair on the front side. If the woman does not enjoy the hair on the front side either, she will make it known. Bottom line tho, if she is the right woman, she won't care what you hair you have and where, she will accept the whole package.

im a guy, 18, and and i only trim excess hair when it gets out of control, i'm Italian, and if i didn't trim from time to time, it would look like i am wearing a winter coat under a t-shirt. I leave my legs and crotch alone, but often times i'll slightly clear around my bellybutton and nips, and trust me, for an italian, often trims are very normal, and mean if i didn't, i'd be chewbacca from starwars, Rawgwgwgwgah!
