Out of the whole world, Chinese is the language spoken the most. However, it is harder to learn how to write it as it has character for every single word. The other language that could be the global language is English. It seems as if English could also be the global language because other foreign places have translations into English (such as signs).

Is their an actual need for a global language?

English is considered the International Language of Commerce. People in most developing countries crave to learn the English language so they can get better jobs. It's the closest thing we have to a global language.
