In 1974 I pulled a handmade poncho out of the free box
at a retreat on the Big Sur coast and I still wear it about
once a week. It's been around the world with me and
I'll probably be buried in it...so I guess the answer would
be 33 years unless you include the vest on the teddy
bear I got the day I was born.

It's a Clemson University t-shirt and I have had it since junior high school - about 20 years. I wore it through high school and college (Clemson, of course), and I still wear it. It has holes in it and is a bit faded, but it continues to be a great shirt!
