It has more than 22,000 miles, a nice dent on the muffler and I sometimes can't even start it (it idles hard).

I purchased it on eBay for about $2500 and I hardly even had a chance to ride it.

Dump it or keep it?

Its a 1999...its not going to become a classic overnight. I would sell it if i were you...even if you can only get $500 out of it...its better than nothing. And yes...people will buy it even it is broken. Maybe a young person looking to get their first bike might want it to fix up.

It's a great intermediate for a woman or a starter bike for a guy, sorry gals, many of you could start on this bike also. But 2,500 is top dollar, the pipe might cost $500 or more, so you have to take that off the price. You may have gotten bored with it, thats why you don't ride it, so Dump it

sell it for a couple of bucks or donate it so you don't have to pay as much taxes. The bike is worth about 500 bucks with an idle likr that.

I'd wait a little longer to see if the value went up or not. If the value is dropping, sell it right away before it lowers to a rediculous price.
