I have a 1996 Nissan Sentra, and have a problem with it quitting alot. It acts like water in the gas, but i just got it out of the garage and they changed the thermostat to get good heat in the car, and reset the computer. The computer hookup showed water in the system so i have been putting cans of (SEA FOAM)--Motor cleaner and fuel injector cleaner in this tank of gas and about the next 3 tanks. The car is also bucking when you are driving at 60-65 mph. Could it be the EGR system or fouled plugs or etc? Would u stick with the water or acts like something else? 1996 Nissan Sentra 4-cylinder.

Definently something else. If there is water in the fuel, get gas from a different place. There is a product out that will evaporate water from the fuel lines. Sounds more like a possible fuel pump or EGR valve or possibly a valve.

computers cant tell you if there is water in the system- even if there was the cleaner you have been putting in there would have removed any water. Id try a motovac (fuel injection cleaning- it will also check for fuel pressure and flow). Good luck

First, change where you get gas. Second, the symptoms you are giving is that there is water in your gas, just get a bottle of rubbing alcohol and pour it in the tank, rubbing alcohol is the best thing to put in gas to remove water. Fouled plugs are a possibility also.
