Have you ever almost been shot?

I almost was shot whne i was like 2, I was standing in my crib and my next door neighbor was playing with a bb gun and he was obviously aiming at my window, the bullet missed by close, and my dad called the cops but they came, did nothing, and left. Ha! Shows what they are worsth! Sometimes i wish it woulda hit me.

Yes. When I was in college I was in a store buying a calculator. It was raining out, so I had a hoody on with it over my head and another jacket on over that. My roommate and I were walking out and I looked up to a shotgun being pointed in my face. Apparently, the storm had set off the silent alarm, so the police responded and thought we were the robbers. I guess they figured we were two robbers who were walking casually out of the store like they didn't just rob it. When they made us go back in, at gun point, the staff came running over to tell them it was a false alarm. The cops lowered their weapons, turned around and walked out of the store. They didn't apologize or acknowledge the incident. That was the end of it. I was only 20 at the time, so I didn't have the parts to demand an apology. Just as well, they probably would have arrested for something trumped up on the spot (I am pro-cop, I'm just anti-"these *******").

Yes, I pulled into a parking lot, and there was a couple of cop cars on one side and a pickup truck on the other and they were shooting at eachother while I was between them. Another time, as a paramedic I was called to a scene where two people had been shot in a coffee shop and as I was approaching the scene, I was informed that they hadn't found the perpetrator yet and the police all had their guns drawn and were searching for him. It was quite scary. So, if you are wondering where the cops are and what good are they, this is what they do, risk getting shot so that hopefully other people don't.

Twice. When I was much younger a friend and were held at gunpoint because we accidentally crossed into someone's woods. I was scared. The second time was when I was in high school. I was walking and some drove slowly ahead of me pointing a gun. I just kept walking towards it. I was not scared anymore.

No, but my wife and I just missed being run over by a stolen car in downtown Boston just a few years ago. Had we not stopped to consult our map just seconds before, we would have been in the intersection (& run over) instead of stepping off the curb towards the intersection ..

Not almost shot, but some guy was shootin in my neighborhood being an asshole because he was pissed off last summer while i was sittin on the porch with a bunch of little kids playing outside. but the cops did come and get him.

I have had a gun pressed against the back of my head and a shotgun in my face, each on a different occasion.
I also twice had cops point their guns at me when they thought I was a robbery suspect.

once while on a deer hunting trip.
once while on a camping trip.
and once while driving on the freeway in so cal.
i was able to return fire on 2 of those occasions.

A few times. Kind of an understatement. I've been shot to. Hurts doesn't begin to describe what it's like.

Josh you are really cute, but you dont need to think that you need to get shot not to feel sad. You are a great person, be happy you are here, some people get cancer and die young. It is sad. Anyways, no i have never almost been shot :)♥
