I get asked that. I've even had job interviewers ask that. I don't know what to say, especially to the job interviewers. Any suggestions?

Social work is basically the application of sociology, so i would say social work. You also learn critical analysis, which is a valuable skill for professional positions in management and organization. Studying sociology develops your writing skills. As a college graduate, you also have developed skills in time management, organization, working with others and meeting deadlines, all of which are valuable skills.

IT is usually a stepping stone to graduate studies, teaching, law, engineering, etc.

Sociology can also be for a social worker, psychologist.

Its an undergrad program.
