Dish network, direct tv, or cable?

Next rate your needs. Cable rarely goes out because of the weather but is more expensive. Satellite usually doesn't have as many HD channels but you can get a TIVO for them where as most cable companies only have a no-name DVR which is good, but not as good as TIVO.

You are locked in with satellite for a year or so but that is not the case with cable.

All things being said, people brag when they get Dish or DirectTV but nobody brags about cable.

I'd say clearly Dish cause:

- cheaper
- more channels and more variety
- awesome picture quality

Dish sucks poo poo. We had it for 12 years. Our reciver went to heck and they wanted to charge us $450 for a new one and if we wanted to add rooms it would be $250 for each room. And another $150 in various fees. And weather effects the signal.
We switched to didgital cable it's much better.
