There's so much conflict surrounding the borders of Libya and their neighbors. Can anyone give me a couple of links that points out why the borders were formed that way?

I think the borders simply drawn a straight line by former colonialist of European countries, they did not consider or due to lack of natural land features like mountain chains, rivers , lakes or similar features. As aresult the demarcation is unstable.
