In June 2003, Triple H offered Kane a spot in his Evolution stable. RAW Co-General Manager Steve Austin offered Kane the opportunity to face Triple H for the World Heavyweight Championship only if he rejected Triple H's offer. The other Co-General Manager Eric Bischoff the insisted that Kane unmask should he lose the match. Kane accepted Austin's offer and went to challenge Triple H the following week in MSG. Triple H won the match following interference from his stablemates. On the June 23, 2003 Raw show Kane removed his mask (and in the process his hair), revealing that his face was not actually scarred. He then immediately turned heel by choke slamming his tag team partner Rob Van Dam, who he went on to defeat at Summer Slam 2003. After this Kane went onto set Jim Ross on fire during an interview in which he went he felt he was being mocked.

There was a World Heavyweight Championship match between Triple H and Kane in 2003 on RAW. Kane had promised that if he looses the match, he will remove his mask. Triple H won the match with the help of the members of The Evolution. Then the General Manager Eric Bischoff came and told Kane to remove his mask and then Kane removed it.

The ref got knocked out. Kane caught HHH by the throat. But before he could give him the chokeslam Randy Orton ran in gave him a low blow then the RKO. Then when Kane got up HHH gave him the Pedigree for the pin. Evolution continued the attack on kane after the match until RVD came to help him. Kane was then going to do his ring pyro but then removed the mask instead. Then chokeslamed RVD. Then RAW went off the air.

I'm pretty sure that HHH distracted the ref and then Randy ran in, spun Kane around, and took out the Big Red Machine with the RKO.

Triple H distracted the ref and Ric Flair ran in. Either way it was a cheat.
