it's addicting... people sometimes even go all out and spend their life savings on gambling and then later when they get over the addiction (if they do) they regret it for the rest of their lives.

Not in a good way.
We have a ton of foreclosures and senior citizen bankruptcies here in Reno-- all due to gambling.
People move here to retire, get hooked on gambling and lose everything.
Anyone who lives here successfully long-term only gambles every once in a while, only gambles what they can afford to lose or does not gamble at all.

It's addicting. It can ruin their relationships, family life, not to mention it could make them lose their house, go bankrupt, and just about every financial problem you could think about. Just like everything addicting people don't know when to stop. They would lose lots of money maybe making lose their house. they would be too busy for family or relationships. Wife and children might leave and so on. just one example.

it can make people get more in to drinking and that kinda stuff like a gang or something but sometimes you can play for fun and for the other reasons and of course the MONEY they always want to gain money
