Help for bad spellers?

I have a friend that is going to go to collage and is not good at spelling what should he do. Is there a hand held computer like thing?????????????????? promters ectr

I think I was born without the part of the brain responsible for trying to figure out how to spell - i after e EXCEPT....except?? -what kind of damn logic is that? - I am an engineer (highly proficient in math and electrical/mechanical aptitude) but, if not for repetition, I would probably misspell my name.

I wouldn't be too concerned - I believe spelling is just another skill - if you're poor at it, I just wouldn't recommend majoring in literature - just as I wouldn't recommend engineering if you're poor at math. We all have our strengths and weaknesses - we have to try and improve on our weaknesses, but we have to build on our strengths.

No and you mustn't be ridiculed for no longer being a solid speller. It does no longer mean which you're a lesser individual, it basically means which you're able to artwork extra solid with the intention to communicate for sure, I definitely have a similar subject, I continually have some one else verify my spelling or use the Dictionary to look up words i'm not sure of. i like the pc Spell verify is my superb pal.

SkyMall and I think SharperImage make a dictionary pen. It works like a normal pen but it has a little LCD screen in it.

This site has the pen and a speaking dictionary gadget. Take a look. The pen is kind of expensive, but I have heard good things

Well for starters learn to spell yourself!! Collage....and the only hand held there is your brain which ppl don't use!!
