i no is almost 8month i was thinking to give brith is 9mouth because my due date is 27 april why.

32 weeks= 8 months
36 weeks= 9 months
40 weeks= at term

You are confused because you thought pregnancy was only nine months long huh? Pregnancy lasts 40weeks (10 months). You will be giving birth at the END of the ninth month, so you will be almost 10 months pregnant. You are 7 3/4 months pregnant like you thought.

ITS CONFUSING...I KNOW...
FROM THE FIRST DAY OF YOUR LAST MENSTUAL CYCLE IS WHEN THEY START COUNTING. AND YOU CARRY FOR 40 WEEKS...BUT THE BABIES GESTATIONAL AGE WILL ALWAYS BE 2 WEEKS BEHIND BECAUSE YOU DON'T EVEN OVULATE UNTIL 12-14 DAYS AFTER FIRST DAY OF LMP. ITS USUALLY CLOSER TO 10 MONTHS THAT A WOMAN WILL CARRY THE BABY RATHER THAN 9.
SO WITH THAT IN MIND TAKE 31 AND DIVIDE IT BY 4 AND YOU ARE ONE WEEK SHY OF 8 MONTHS.
I AM 32 WEEKS TOMORROW...WITH A DUE DATE OF APRIL 21. ON THAT DAY I WILL HAVE CARRIED THE BABY FOR A TOTAL OF 40 WEEKS SINCE LMP...BUT THE BABY WILL BE 38 WEEKS GESTATION. HOPE THIS HELPS.
