or have any other suggestions? Should it bother me that his initials would be B.S?? Any thoughts?

Yeah, that would bother me.. the initial thing.. I think you should stay far from that unless you are not too worried about him getting his feelings hurt and getting picked on one day. What about switching the first two to be Conner Brendan Smith.?

It shouldn't bother you that the initials are BS, because most people won't even notice it, unless you start calling him by his initials. Personally I don't care for the name Brendan. What about:
Mark Connor
James Connor
Sam Connor

I think your name is fine. The B.S. may be a small problem but I doubt it will ever be noticed unless he makes a point of telling someone. I really prefer names that are a bit off the beaten path. I named my son Royd. He has only met one other with the same name. I offered to pay the cost for a name change and he was having no part of it. He said he liked not having to share his name with half the people he met.

I have a niece whose initials are T.N.T. Yep, just like the explosive.

I think it is great that you want to make a name as individual as the DNA.

Take it from me, a guy who's name is Brandon Smith. It's a great name. I have no problem having the initials B.S.

If his initials are B.S., you have to take in consideration that kids will make fun of him. Children can be cruel.
Brendan Conner Smith is a wonderful name, though.
I have a suggestion for a name--
Dior. It means "golden one" or "golden boy".
Also, Lucien, which means "light" and Pierre.
You should choose the name you feel will be the best, the one you like the best.
Good luck!

Wow what a coincidence! My name is Brendan and my last name is with an S. My initials are B.S. and no one makes fun of it. Great irish name you go there. And that's the correct spelling. None of the "Brenden" and "Brandon" crap.

My dads name is Bennie Smith and he survived the initials B.S. Who ever calls you by your initials anyway right? As long as he is not a ultra-sensetive person who takes himself too seriously, he could actually use that as a funny icebreaker. As long as he can laugh at himself, he will be fine.

Why not just change Conner and Brendan so it's Connor Brenden it'd make his initials C.S. (my first thought is C.S. Lewis an awesome author)
