Who are the people who put computer virus on the Internet.Are they connected any way to Anti Virus Companies?

Can't the Internet do any thing about it.I am sure it cost Computer users Billions of Dollars every year or is there a politics behind it.Cant the Goverenments do any thing too?

You are making a very valid point. Why on earth anybody who is such a genius that he can create something which can destroy many software and crash hard drive, will do it for nothing. What is he getting? They may be related to Computer Virus Companies. Similarly as the medicine companies spread diseases, through virus and other means and then sell there vaccination, pills, injections etc. The only target is innocent consumer who is helpless and can't do anything.
