That's the ultimate betrayal there would be no forgiving that, it would be time for a divorce.

Is the family member the same sex as your spouse? It all depends on how high you place marriage vows in your life. If your a swinger, no biggie, if your a devout christian, very big deal. What is your personal feelings about it? Are you willing to forgive? Is your spouse willing to stop doing this? Do you really love each other? How long have you been together? Is the family member from your side of the family? Why would they do that to you? Ask yourself a bunch of questions, but handle yourself with dignity and class because that will be what is remembered if forgiveness does possibly happen. Good luck on that one.

It would be time to disown that family member as well as the husband. Is this family member part of the wifes family or part of the husbands family, either way it would be a sick in the head thing to do even if the wife was mean or whatever. If this guy dosent want the wife anymore then he needs to find another way than cheating on one of his wifes family members.

I would have to say that it is an unforgivable thing that was done. It would be the end of the marriage and i would never talk to the family member again because they both new better. I would make sure u fought for everything in the divorce.

Family member or a best friend?

Hmm. I think divorce is the best option.

Not sure what to do about the family member. They'd have to be lowest of the low.

This is a horrible question! Is the family member within your direct family unit? Call the police!

Is the family member a relative of yours or a sister or brother of yours? String him up by the balls!

File for divorce. Consider carefully if that family member is a member that I'd want to remain in contact with (I'd seriously doubt it, though...) Just because someone is blood kin doesn't mean that you HAVE to be in close contact with them. I'd probably run for the door....

Accept it as a part of life or get out of it. Separation from such member of the family is also a solution.
