This is a hard one.

Northern...ehh. not so much.

Southern. YES! because of the Himalayas. And because of Mt. Everest. there's also many other tall mountains bordering it.

If your dermarkation line is the equator, the answer should be in the north. If you consider the whole of Asia, most countries are in the southern side, therefore, the northern part is the mountanous.
