After having a regular ol' Blackberry for over two years, I bought the new Pearl and was very impressed.... that is, until I tried to start sending emails. The numbering/lettering system on the Pearl is fine for the average user, but for people (like me) who truly have a Blackberry addiction and are constantly emailing all day long, it's a pain in the a$$ to have to utilize either Smart Type or to have to do the double strike method.

I ended up taking it back and getting a Sidekick. I really needed the full keyboard. Had the Pearl had a better keyboard, it would have been everything I wanted!

well.. i went from a nokia tracphone that i think was built in the mid 1970s to my pearl.. so... this is really a loaded question...

but i do love it... got the expansion mem for audio/video

my only draw back is.. when i have it in the holster, i cant hear it ring or feel it vibrate.. i turned the ringer volume all the way up, and even recorded a amplified MP3 and loaded it as the ringer and have the vibration set at 3.... so i have to start carrying it in my pocket..

other than that.. i can see why the term "Crackberry" was coined...

my girlfreind thinks she'll never get to talk to me again.. i told her to get a phone and call me...

man that couch is starting to hurt my back...
