Final Fantasy?

Question

How many games, movies or FMV's are there, because I searched in wikipedia.com final fantasy and there were a lot of things like games and now I'm more confused then before. 0.o
Can anyone plz tell me all of the Final fantasy products ^.^?

I cannot tell ALL as they are too many.. but, i'll try my best:

Video Games:
Final Fantasy I, II, III, IV, V, VI, VII, VIII, IX, X, XI, XII, XIII (coming this year)

Final Fantasy VII has branches off to many new games such as
FFVII Dirge of cerberus, Before Crisis, and Crisis Core.

Final Fantasy X has spin off to Final Fantasy X-2 (a continuation of the story to the main character whereabout after the FFX ending)

Final Fantasy XI is online MMORPG. So, they have 3 expansion packs: Chains of promathia, Treasure of Aht Uhrgan, and the new one coming is Vision of Girade/ Girade's phantom.

Final Fantasy XII spins to DS.
It's called Revenant wings.

Final Fantasy XIII Fabula Nova Crystallis will come out this year together with its spin off Final Fantasy XIII Versus that complete the Fabula Nova Crystallis Chronicles.

A spin off from normal Final Fantasy series:
Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles for game cube
and FFC chronicles 2 for DS

There is also a Final Fantasy game published for Super Nintendo that is not fit in the normal genre.. Final Fantasy Mystic Quest

Also there is fighting game for PS1 (Ehrgeiz) but honestly, who cares?

and off course there are many other mini FF game that are swirling around. But, the games that i mention are pretty much knowable by gamers.

Movies:
Final Fantasy the Spirit Within (the most fabulous failure. Due to the lack of Final Fantasy signature, except for names of the characters).

Final Fantasy VII Advent children (the best for now)
Final Fantasy VII Last Order (anime)
and some anime cartoons based on FF crystal series.

that's about it..
If you are confused to which selection to go then by all means don't.
Although they shared the name of final Fantasy, most of them stands by itself as a single cohesive story (with the exception of spin off games).

My suggestion is to start from the games first:
Start with FFVII, then FFX, then FFXII, if you would like to go classic then try FFVI.

After that you can watch advent children.

By then you should have more than enough confidence to venture all the products on your own.

Don't feel the necessity to start periodically from FFI to FFXII
Due to the standard PS3 graphics and HDTV, most likely you'll dread FFI graphics; thus, killing your enjoyment.

This site has a lot more information then I can explain. All I can tell you is that Kingdom hearts is its own original series that does NOT follow Final Fantasy. Some titles released in Japan, were not released in the U.S. Some titles of these games differ in both countries. And the first final fantasy movie, didn't even revolve around any of the games. It just had the same namesake.

When u talk about Final Fantasy (FF), it's basicly a RPG based video game for many consoles.

As for Final Fantasy products...
There's obviously the game itself...
There's collectables such as posters, action figures and music CDs...
There's also FF movie, 2 movies released so far, FF: Spirit Within and FF7: Advent Children

well, from what I know there's one movie of this I can't remember the title. well, there are mabe at least 20 games(Kingdome Hearts count too because it has final fanticy characters)10&7 has a sequle, 11 is online at playonline.com, don't get1-5(exsept the nentendo ds of 3) there old so the quality will be bad. there are a lot of figerines and colectable items. I've got 10, 10-2, 12, and Kingdome Hearts 1&2(Kingdome hearts chain of memories is a game boy one).

7! Squall replaced into way too emo and that i could not stand the great draw magic element on 8. the great love topic felt extra distant places than the different video games. You junction and equip magic to statistical records after which you won't be in a position to even use it till you % to lose your stats! That witch boss replaced into lame, too. i've got owned 8 by using fact the day it got here out. I performed by using it as quickly as and have not given it a 2d concept. FF7 is in my all time good 5.
