Willingly? Nope.

Remember, the concept of dancing with someone is to allow the better dancer to take control of the dance. With Auld Nickm there's a hell of a penalty to pay. There are tells of casting a spell on the dancers which made them unable to stop dancing - until their feet bled and they cried in agony(1). Or tales of dancing for what appeared to be minutes only to find out decades/centuries have passed (imagine the despair that would hit you of finding you that all those you have know and loved are now dead and turned to dust).

You could dance with anyone you want to! Its a matter of choice. Dancing with the devil is a metaphor for doing whatever you please and if that suits you then go ahead, but you have to put with the demons that dance around in your head after! Are you ready for that!!!!!!!

I would say yes, if the phrase "Dance with the Devil" was used as slang. In reality, yes, especially if you are with someone that is as evil as the devil, and as mean as the devil, then yep.

You could have done many years ago in a village in PLUCKLEY..KENT...ENGLAND. In one of the woods there use to be a bush called[devil's bush] You had to dance around it naked and call out his name. He would then appear and then you would be completely in his power.

I would exhaust the Devil. I would run him ragged. He would have to go sit down. I wouldn't even bring him a soda.
