The Rangers are a classic example of having all of the ingredients, but not the recipe. This is usually the result of having the wrong chef, if you get my drift.

The notable example is a lack of depth and consistency in goal. Unfortunately, this weakness has a very profound effect on the rest of the team.

One of the best ways to improve the offense on a team like the Rangers is to land a better goalie! Confused??? Don't be. A lack of confidence in the goalie reduces the number of chances that a team takes in leaving the zone. It also keeps your more defense-mided players on the ice rather than your finesse guys.

Seriously, As A Devils Fan, I am Embarrassed to See My Successful team Play in a Losers Division, they only Sane Team in the Atlantic Division are the New Jersey Devils

1. Flyers: The Jokes
2. The Rangers: The Losers
3. The Islander: The Never Getting anything Done Team
4. Pittsburg: The Fakers

5. The Devils: Hells Angels!!!!!!!

Not as much as my Kings suck this year! I hope the Rangers beat the **** out of the Devils! I hope Pittsburgh beats the Devils too! If they make the playoffs that is. Who plays on the Devils anyway? Too bad Stevens is gone, cuz he was the only player worth watching! That's cuz I'm a defenceman! You have to get past Buffalo first!

The Rangers need to learn how to get a lead, and then HOLD it (even though it may be that they aren't used to it since they barely had leads before the lockout). Detroit is good, but 3 goals in the third just is embarassing. Glen Sather may have given them some jump with Pascal Dupuis and Sean Avery (I loved it when he knocked Brodeur on his a**), but these deals aren't what we need and are destroying our future. We need defensemen that can move the puck and score. How about we give Berard a second tour with us (I don't care that he can't see)? About killing our future, yeah Marc-Andre Cliche (who you probably haven't heard of) and Jan Marek were probably some of our better prospects, and now they're Kings property. So how about Sather out, Messier in and get (and KEEP) good prospects. (Hugh Jessimen was a waste a a good first-round pick).

They suck. Hard. After last year I thought they were going to be challenging the Devils for the division, but the Rangers just went back to the ways that got them nowhere in the past. Paying too much for aging veterans (Shanahan) and expecting leadership from someone who doesn't want it (Jagr). Devils win and Rangers lose.

No. And it's not "just you". The Rangers are one of my favorite teams, but even I am unbiased enough to see that they are chronic underachievers. Last year was a glimmer of hope, as Jagr got off the schneid. This year, Jagr is getting abused by other players, and the refs are letting them get away with it. He is too big a deal to the team for that to happen and for them to succeed simultaneously. Can't happen. #68 has got to be allowed the same freedom as other stars for the Rangers to get the results that they are really capable of getting.

They are highly incosistent. There's no chemistry in the locker room: The Czechs are getting all the attention, the Canadians feel like the blame is on them, and the Swedes (Lundqvist and Nylander) play on unnoticed until something bad happens.

When was the last time they finished above .500?

New York state of mind, my ***.
