Of course man... like there not the best team now... but yeah they will become THE BEST in the NBA in the near future no doubt about it...

On the one hand, you have to expect the Chaning Fryes, David Lees, and Eddy Currys to continue to improve since they will be maturing into their primes and they will form the nucleus of the team along with Crawford and Bochman. On the other hand, they have no cap room to use until 2011 and with Marbury and Francis in total free fall and taking up so much money, there is very little to be able to improve the team such as getting a bona fide point guard or some quality depth at the forward position.

I think that the Knicks have a lot of potential to be a very good team in the Future. They have three good young players in Frye, Robinson and David Lee.
Also, if they keep Thomas he is going to continue to bring good young players to the team. One thing that Isiah does very well is drafting good young players he has a eye for talent. Look at his track record. Damon Stoudamire, Marcus Camby, Tracy McGrady, Jamal Tinsley, he was the one that had faith in O'neal when they brought him to the Pacers Frye, Lee, and Robinson. He also brought to the knicks Eddy Curry who under Thomas has been playing awesome. He is a good coach, players seem to respond better to Isiah they respect and they play for him.
If Isiah stays with the Knicks. This team has a very good future ahead of them.

Of course they will. They can't get any worse, lol. And with players like Eddy Curry, David Lee, Channing Frye (nice big guys to build on) and Crawford, Robinson, and Richardson (another good 3 guards to build with) and with players like Jared Jeffries, they have to improve. Although they have to wait until the cap room clears up to get a real PG, not Marbury or Francis (they both suck!)

They have some good guards to build arround, but they need a big man desperately, they should be lookin good 3-4 years down the road
