Derek Jeter is by far the most overrated player in all professional sports. He couldn't even win a gold glove until A-rod was big enough to change positions for the team. Jeters post season numbers are great, but his 14 homers and 75 RBI per season isn't what gets them to the post season. If he wasn't fortunate enough to be on the Yankees, I doubt if we'd know who he is. Why is he making 21mil a year when he puts up Coco Crisp like numbers? I'm not talking about post season for all you Jeter homers.

probally tod helton he makes errors just about every game and he couldnt hit to save his life. He can thank coors field for his good numbers, and people can say he's the leader of that team but he's got the worst adittude in the league i hope he gets sent to the red sox becuase the rockies are gonna be a tought team in a few years and he doesnt deserve any credit for it

I believe Carlos Beltran is the most overrated player. He had one great postseason and thats it. He's the most overpaid player because he's the most overrated player. He's an underachieving 5-tool player who cant do good in New York. He's just like A-rod.

In order

1) Jeter - Mediocre power, barely average defense, good average, ok speed but is treated like a superstar.

2) Mark Prior - always hurt, what has he done?

3) Bobby Crosby - peaked his rookie year
