It depends on what type of printer you have.

If the printer has built-in networking options just plug the ethernet into your router and printer. Assign an IP if you don't have DHCP in place.

Or you can buy a print/file server at Best Buy or Circuit City.

It's not hard at all. Configure Windows for your printer.

When you say you have a wireless network setup and working do you refer to 3 computers sharing the internet connection or 3 computers sharing files and folders? They are two different things.

In order to share a printer on your network you must do a few things.

1)Install your printer on one of the computers as you normally would.

2)On all your computers that you want to access the printer you need to change your workgroup name. Make them all the same so they are on the same workgroup. Do this by right clicking on my computer, goto properties and goto computer name.

3)On all your computers that you want to access the printer you need to enable file and printer sharing.

4)Goto the computer that the printer is installed and under the printers & faxes part of control panel right click on the printer and click on sharing. Select share this printer and give it a name.

5)Depending on the firewall software you use you might have to setup the firewall to allow a network connection also.

6)goto the other two computers that dont have a printer and add a new printer. Select network computer and search the network for printers. If your network is setup correctly you will find the printer and it will install.

Or if you are using a router and have a free ethernet port on it you can go purchase a printer with an ethernet connection on it and network it that way.

Or if you have a wireless router you can purchase a printer with a wireless adapter in it and network it that way.

The easiest method would be to share the printer off one of the computers. Attach the printer to one computer, share it with the other computers via your network. The only drawback is that the computer that has the printer attached to it must be turned on for this scheme to work. You could always look into a wireless print server but that requires more hardware. Hope this is what you were looking for...

I would recommend geting a print server for the printer that will attach your printer directly to network so that you can print any time from any machine as oppose to when it's shared by a host machine. In the later case the host machine will act as a print server for the remaining two and has to remain powered if printer device has to accessed. independent print server would make a job easier cause regardles of whatever machine is on or off it will still print as long as your gateway router/switch is functioning.
