I liked the show but didn't you always ask yourself the same question. Why don't this kids with these cool rings practice. They wouldn't need Captain Planet so much. Ditto for the Wonder Twins great powers and they looked up to guys like Robin the Boy Wonder. Go figure

Wow! Blast from the past! I absolutely LOVED Captain Planet. That was the best show ever! It's too bad there aren't more cartoons like that nowadays.

And still do - it's too bad that the show had to get too hokey for today's kids, not that they'd even bother watching it these days. It's a crying shame that children don't pay more attention to the message that the cartoon was trying to get out - we've done a bad job of caring for our planet, and if they don't get their act together, there won't be a planet for their children - if they bother having any.

Yes. I LOVED Captian Planet!
I still do. Cap always had such a good heart, and he even had fun battling the polluters. But he never forgot that his job was to protect the Earth.
My favorite character --besides Cap himself, and Gaia-- was/is Ma-Ti. The youngest of the Planeteers was as sweet as can be, and very easy to love. No one ever gave him enough credit.
As Cap says:
"THE POWER IS YOURS!"

I loved it when it was first on fifteen years ago . . . of course I was ten. Now when I see reruns of it is just so hokey, but I still remember it fondly, god help me.

That show and "Dinosaurs" were pure liberal propaganda, not that there is anything wrong with that.
