Does anyone remember this movie?

I was young, so it must have been from the 70's - anyhow, there's a very famous actress who supposedly dies in a house fire. A man and woman go to her restored house, where her body is kept, preserved, in a lighted, glass coffin at the head of the pool. They later realize that the housekeeper with the scarred arms is actually the actress, who was ashamed of losing her beauty in the fire and so pretended she was dead all these years.
