We travelled across the US in an old Pace Arrow.
We needed help twice, once in Oregon and a tow in North Carolina. It was just a matter of a phone call and waiting for the service provider to come.
We used a the Allstate motor club, they have a plan called RV Roadhelp plan.
I cannot answer the question regarding Canada and Alaska but you can contact Allstate from their website with any questions.
There is a lot of information on the plan at the site anyhow.

If you are traveling in an RV, Good Sam and other specialty RV road services (like Foremost) are the way to go. They are tied in to the shops equipped to help with the big rigs. Those big rigs need special towing equipment to prevent damage from being moved. Also, the West and Canada and Alaska have VERY long distances. When you need help. It can run into hundreds of dollars to tow a big rig to the "nearest" suitable repair facility. Be sure to carefully read what the insurer/road service can do under the contract you get. An RV is NOT treated like a car or pickup.

I have both. AAA is more widely recognized and accepted, but where Good Sam works, it works well. Good Sam is more oriented to RV travel, so that is an advantage. AAA is more oriented to crises coverage, which is probably a big advantage if you are out of fuel on the expressway in L.A. And the guy on the Good Sam decal sorta reminds me of Freddy Flintstone, but please don't tell Good Sam I said that.

A ponytail with severe dandruff? o_O definitely nonetheless, that metaphor is predicated on the Mercator Projection maps, which heavily distort the sizes and styles of the continents. On a extra ideal map Canada is extra like a Baseball Cap. rather.
