It sounds to me like you are looking for a device like:

moreover
nevertheless
Further more

some kind of transition, heh?

I just checked the dictionary under 'light' and it gives a basic definition of 'in light of' as "taking into account".

It seems like whatever transitional device we come up with, it just won't seem right unless it ends in -ably...

So how about:

accountably
considerably
inlightably

If all else fails, just use 'CONSIDERING'.
