I have lived in a new apartment for 9 months now and have continously had to buy new forks.I have gone through 12 forks, no other utensil is missing what is going on?i live by myself.

That's one every three weeks on average. Pay attention to what you do with your fork, where you use them, whether you wrap it in a napkin, snack while sitting in a recliner or on the sofa, or if they could drop behind a piece of furniture or a radiartor. Take an inventory of your forks every day or two so you know when the next one disappears. Count your forks before taking out the trash. Search your apartment with a bright flashlight--all the nooks and crannies, on top of, behind and underneath everything. Pull drawers out and see what's inside the cabinets. Do you have a pet that might be playing with them?
I doubt that you have a fork phantom. A local school did, and I don't think they ever caught him. He stole forks from the cafeteria and threw them into the acoustical tile ceilings in the hallways. Teachers would sometimes hear the thunk and rush out in the hall, but too late. There would be a fork in the ceiling.

I took them and put them in my microwave. Sorry.
Did you know that forks spark in the microwave and other utensils do not?

Either someone is stealing them, or you use them more than any other utensil and misplace them more frequently. Or maybe you sleepwalk and do something with them in the night.

Ive heard this before. Extraterrestrials express their presence stealing metal instruments, and maybe they want to kidnap you. you have to look it out on research on the internet, and ask for help. this is serious, trust me!
