Go to any pharmacy or Wal-Mart type place and get Monistat. You can get the 1- 3- or 7-day treatment. I just got over a yeast infection myself. Only the second one I've had in my life! Ohh, they are irritating, not to meniton uncomfortable. The Monistat brand somes with a cream that will help ease the itch tremendously. Get the one with the cooling wipes too. It helpes. The Monistat will cost probably in the neighborhood of $20, but its the best means to get rid of the problem.
It was probably the very best thing they could have done to make these treatments available OTC and not have to wait to go to a doctor and all the embarrasement that goes with it.
Also, my mom swears that if you can't get the Monistat soon, get some buttermilk... douch with it several times. It might be crazy, but it helps... use a turkey baster. Knew those things were good for something.

She should go to pharmacy and ask them for something, they may recommend an antibiotic cream. Otherwise may have to get something from Dr.
