Hi! I'm also still under 18 and I've had stage fright once or twice before. Basically, it was my friends that helped me through it all. Before I went on stage I would be chatting with all my friends, having a good time and maybe just going over my routine once in my head and once physically prior to my stage performance. I wouldn't really think about mistakes I could make - I just thought about how much I loved dancing. This made me relax and I hope this can do the same for you. If you love dancing, there's nothing to be afraid of because everyone will love your dancing; just have a good time. It truly does show. Dance is an expression of your emotions, if you feel scared then you will dance like that too. I hope this helps you and Good Luck!

Stage fright is annoying. Sure you can't leave the group yet but you can take a break another way to stop being quite as nervous is to not think about it. It's very inportant that you are comfortable during the dance or you may either discontinue or maybe mess up. So, take a breather before the show begins and then dance your heart out! You should really try to be relaxed about the show and not so worried about messing up! You can pull off the stunt and have a wonderful time doing it if you are prepared prepardness is important in your dance! You cannot forget that or the dance steps. Also, just follow your heart and if it says don't dance because you're not yet ready to take on stage fright, tell the oter members that you are uncomfortable and have to quit, otherwise go get em'
I really do feel bad that you have stage fright as well
Hope this helps

No matter what anyone says, everyone gets a bit of stage fright here and there. How I deal with it is either imaginging that you're just at practice again or iamgine that each practice is the real performance. The second works the best for me. That way I am used to being completely serious about it and not messing around way before the actual performance. The ladies that I perform with have a great ritual. We'll form a circle backstage and take turns praying. That way we can get everything off our minds and connect to one another before we face the world together. It's not as scary as you make it. It's a natural part of life.

It's completely natural to get stage fright before your first time on stage. If you keep performing, you'll gain confidence and gradually the stage fright will become less severe. For this time, here are some tips:
- Practice! The more prepared you are, the better.
- Look at yourself in a mirror before going onstage so you're confident that you look fine.
- Go to the bathroom beforehand.
- Take deep breaths.
- Stretch out physically.
- Eat properly and stay hydrated prior to the event.
Good luck! You're not nervous, you're excited. =)

Imagine yourself dancing perfectly and doing your stunts absolutely flawlessly, then when you go on stage it will turn out the way you imagined.
if you mess it up, don't worry, just keep going like nothing happened, I have broken body parts on stage, and you still have to go on.
RELAX!
I always do yoga and meditate also I stretch out for like an hour before I go on stage.
Remember, if all else fails, keep going, no matter what because it will be okay.

You might be saying that those "relax" techniques don't work. Well, they don't, but they can. No one can tell you how to overcome your own version of stage fright. Just be sure that what doesn't knock you off of that stage will make you a better performer.

Stage fright can be overcome by relaxing and enjoying what you are doing. Obviously, you are very good at what you do, otherwise you would not have been chosen to perform. Good luck, and I'll say a prayer for you.

Chillax. I know that sounds WAY too simple, but just try it. The worst that could happen is that you mess up. No one will die. You're human, and I'm sure everyone will be okay with it. The jerks who aren't, don't matter.
