...what they would go for if I would sell them? They were purchased from a charity auction, and were received from Kroenke Sports (who own the Avalanche). The sticks are an Easton Stealth (Sakic) and an Easton Synergy (Liles). They are signed in silver sharpie and are really great looking. I thought they were cool looking, but seeing as how I'm a Wings fan, I can't really put them in my basement.

Any advice? Does anyone know anything about hockey memorabilia like this and it's value?

You have about 400$$ worth of hockey sticks (without the signatures) EBay baby. Although I don't know if they don't have letters of aunthenticity.
I have a Mark Recchi signed CCM helmet with the letter of authenticity and a cool glass stand for it and I amm sort of sitting on it, enjoying seeing him reach milestones (500 goal club) while Sakic just reached the 600 goal club. Both HOF bound. So, my advice, like some others here, would be to sell high. Near his induction, put it on EBay with a high reserve and if it doesn't sell, put them away as the grandkids nest egg.

I would go to a place like eBay to see what the average person will pay for it when they go somewhere to try to find it cheap. A Sakic signed stick is going for about $70 right now. Unfortunately there is no Liles auto. sticks up but I would guess it isn't too far below Sakic. Also keep in mind that merchandise sells better in season and yours holds more value in Denver/Colorado than other places.

I would hand them anyway, at least for now. Sakic will go for much more once he's into the HoF, and that should happen 3 years after he retires.

they'll go for a good bit, but one does not have to be a fan of the team to be a fan of the player. Keep the sticks for a while, and decide what to do with them in a few years. you may like having them.

First did you get Certificates of Authenticity? If not, have the signatures verified and certified. Then, have them appraised by a reputable dealer. Hold on to Sakic's stick cause you know there are going to be fans that will pay top dollar once he gets into the Hall of Fame. I too am a wings fan and we both know that Joe will make it to Toronto as fast as Stevie does.

you'd probably get 2-4 hundred.... possibly 3-5 hundred after sakic gets into the hall of fame.

As much or as little as a crazy Avs fan would buy them for.
