okay. so ive liked this guy jeremy for a little bit. and he likes me too. he and his gf recently broke up. but it was due for awhile(they rarely talked and fought).
so now nicole(his gf..also my friend) is all hes gonna treat you like dirt. im just lookin out for yuo. and shes basically saying dont like him.
but i do. and he doesnt act that way.
and now she says she doesnt know if we can be friends.
help!!!

that is very immature of her. If its done and over with him then she should be understanding. She is probably jealous and finding a way so that you will not go with him. Especially if she uses threats. That is not a real friend if she does that.

She doesn't sound like a very good friend to me. You'll be fine without her. Try going out with Jeremy. As long as Nicole was just saying that stuff, you should be fine.

A friend that gives ultimatums, isn't a friend. See where this relationship with him is headed, and give Nicole some space. If she's a true friend, she'll come around.....

Guys come and go but good friends are usually around for a long time sometimes forever.
My friends and I have a rule that we do not ever date a friend's Ex..it is just tacky. :)

well if u like someone but ur friend doesn't then forget ur friend. if they can't support u in a decision then they r not really a friend. Also ur friend is holding u back if they won't let u date someone u really like. Just go and ask him out and lay it on the line w/ ur friend that she cant contol ur life

well......if you really like him then give him a chance...but if you are very good friends with Nicole...just maybe forget about him...there many fish in the sea and if you have the time you should go fishing......

is it worth losing your girl friend.....maybe he is nice now but how long will that last.....he may decided to treat you like dirt once he has you.....my ex guy treated me like gold for a year and them turned into a total jerk (he still is) so be careful

It's hard to say. It's probably difficult for her to see you with him, since it was her boyfriend at one time, even if they didn't get along. Usually "they" say, to stick with your friend... friends are forever, and not all relationships last.
