Don't know about the spelling, but as a guess you are talking about any number of "bushings" that are used all over the suspension components. Some are rubber, others are plastic or polymer materials.

A wheel suspension bushing is generally a hard rubber grommet that connects the end of a shock absorber to the frame or chassis of a car. If they become worn or even broken away it will cause the shock absorber mounts to rattle and bang on bumps.

wheel suspension bushing is a piece of rubber that absord the vibration of the vehicle and flexes under road conditioning.without this bushing,you would hear squeaky noise and vibration
