since you didn't give us very much to work with, i'll go out on a limb and recommend you some of my favorite 'soft' music:
iron and wine
kings of convenience
wilco
loose fur
elliott smith
jack johnson
and with the exception of elliott smith, who is only somewhat soft, all of the above are VERY soft.
