Go with an Jansport. Good Backpack... Very dependable... Long lasting.... Go to a Ross you can get them cheap there. If you don't mind spending 45.00 dollars at the big stores...

Don't know about today, but I used a Jansport for four years while in college and then my husband used it another four years while he was in college. It was still in such good shape that we gave it to my little brother. It really held up well and was comfortable to carry. But that was back in the mid 80's and early 90's....product quality does change over time so get more info.
