You buy DVD burning software, or you download a trial version of a software that allows for DVD burning

You can visit www.download.com and get trial's and demo's of software such as Nero 7 Ultra Edition

I personally have Nero 7 Ultra Edition
But your HP should come pre-installed with CyberLink PowerDVD or PowerDirector, if not, SONIC burning software is also good!

Search through your computer, something may come up, and when it does, try a google search to figure out how to operate your software

Hope this helped!
Good Luck.

If you wanna learn how to make dvd's go to doom9.net. Not only will they tell you how, but everything you need to do it is on their download page for free. It may not be as easy as some of the programs you can buy, but it will be better.

You need to go to the program in which you have the movie recorded and burn it from there. It should automatically go to your window media player so you should also be able to burn it there

Use Nero ...it gives you options on what you want to do ...I use it to burn downloaded videos onto blank DVD's...but first it has to Transcode the movie....
