See heres the thing, I have to find a song to sing for my fiance at our wedding. On Velentines day he sang to me and puposed, he has an awesome voice by the way. And that night he asked me to sing for him. Heres my story the only person that has ever heard me sing is my mom who passed away 5 years ago. I have never sang in front of anyone else in my entire life not even at church or when I'm in the car. I haven't even thought about singing since. Trey, my fiance, sings to me all the time and he is very fond of music in general. He and my mom use to talk a lot and she once told him that I had a beautiful voice, she always told me that I did, and I considered it something very special between me and her. I do think that I have an okay voice and I would love to be able to wow him which I think I can. I told him that I only would do it on our wedding day because thats the only thing that could equal my special time with my mom. Now I just need the perfect song. I will take any suggestions

I think that it would be very romantic if you sang "YOUR" song. Something that you and your soon to be husband (congrats by the way) claim as your song.

: )

a million. Virginia [i'm a July toddler] 2. Anna[No lipstick, whats up some thing cool, for the girl I have been given #7 then #thirteen, it quite is my birthday, thirteen July :)] 3. Frank [different - I wanna pass to Sweden] 4. Harold [Multi animals-In my new homestead we've a cat, a canines, and 2 birds] Virginia and Anna i'm not keen on, however the nickname Ginny is beautiful. Frank is oddly handsome so i like it, and Harold isn't some thing i could use, regardless of the undeniable fact that it has a nerdy, previous type attraction i won't be in a position to describe.

I wouldn't do it. You could really embarress yourself on your special day. How do you know if you can sing? It sounds like a potential bad episode of american idol to me!!

If you are really set on singing then can I suggest what some friends of mine did. They didn't sing at the wedding, but waited until the reception, and while everyone was sitting down eating, someone started to clink a glass for them to kiss, and the music kicked in and they jumped up and started singing that song, "don't go breaking my heart" by kiki dee and elton john. It was hysterical. Then their wedding party jumped up and sang the harmony part. It was so funny. No one could believe it. They had practiced and they also had about 3 more songs. It turned into such an excellent fun wedding.

Time In A Bottle by Jim Croce.
If I could save time in a bottle
The first thing I'd like to do
Is to save every day til eternity passes away'
Just to spend them with you.........
This is a very soft easy song to sing and has beautiful lyrics

There is a song called "When God Made you" which is perfect for a wedding. The recorded version is a duet so I am not sure if you can sing it alone.

Best wishes.

you should sing

at last! thats a beautiful song

At last, my love has come along
My lonely days are over
And life is like a song
Oh, yeah, at last
The skies above are blue
My heart was wrapped up in clovers
The night I looked at you
I found a dream that I could speak to
A dream that I can call my own
I found a thrill to rest my cheek to
A thrill that I have never known
Oh, yeah when you smile, you smile
Oh, and then the spell was cast
And here we are in heaven
For you are mine
At last

or a natural woman thats a good song since the lyrics are like "you make me feel like a natural woman"

Lookin' out on the mornin' rain, I used to feel uninspired
And when I knew I had to face another day, oh, it made me feel so tired
Before the day I met you, life was so unkind
But your love was the key to my peace of mind

Chorus: Cause you make me feel, You make me feel
You make me feel, like a natural woman

When my soul was in the lost and found, you came along to claim it
And didn't know just what was wrong with me, oh till your kiss helped me name it
Now I'm no longer doubtful, of what I'm livin' for
Cause if I make you happy, I don't need to do more

(chorus)

Oh baby what you've done to me, you make me feel so good inside
Good inside, and I, I just wanna be close to you
Because you make me feel so alive, oh, what you've done to me
Close to you because you make me feel so alive
You make me feel, You make me feel, You make me feel
Like a natural woman, woman
You make me feel, You make me feel, You make me feel
Like a natural woman, You make me feel
Oh baby what you do to me, Can make me feel so good inside
I just wanna be, I just wanna be, Oh what you've done, Natural woman

"You and Me" by "Lifehouse" It's kind of a modern slowdance song, but it might work.
