What does "looking like a star" mean, anyway?

"looking like a star" simply means ur prone to be noticed, star is something that shines its preety bright like a bulb.... so thats the stars they get all the attention and they seem to shine where ever they go and if everyone looked like a star we would all get blind.

No b/c then it would lose it's exclusivity. Then everyone would be singing about looking normal or unnoticeable.
I assume it means glamorous, wearing high-end fashions, lots of diamonds and expensive items.
