That can be a very difficult position...

Mix the sense of duty and the sense of escape it all..

Mix the feeling of being abandoned and neglected and the urge at the same time to break free from all..

Mix fears and insecurity, the need for others' appreciation and at the same time the need to disappear and escape from it all..

A moon in Capricorn has a very strong sense of duty and obligation, reserved, pragmatic..but it is also the planet of feelings and relating to others. Capricorn is ruled by Saturn ( fears, limits to overcome).

the moon : our emotions, feelings, to reach and empathise with others is coupled here with fear of rejection deep down.

Some people like that are real loners..and feel misunderstood all their lives from those around. There can be a real sense of loneliness.

Look at it : moon : emotions, feelings, past, subconscious, ability to connect on a deeper level to someone else...

Capricorn : fears..hesitancy..restrictiveness.

12th house : " the jail one" if taken negatively..on the positive side : complete renewal and one of kind..

combine..combine..combine..the rest of your chart to know better..

I cannot tell you. I deal with whole charts just not one piece of it..like a doctor would do a complete exam not just look at your tongue..

but for sure : the 12 th house always gets my attention because so much can unsolved there.

I have no brilliant explanation to give you because one has to know the rest of the chart anyway..

The Moon (to react to) in Capricorn (Prudent and Reserved)

Your ability to start new things (cardinal) may be governed (passive) by your emotions (Moon, react to) and you might not feel good unless you are being practical (earth) and holding back your feelings (reserved). You may find that what you are doing is not what you really want (passive), but you will probably carry on anyway (fixed), doing what you have always done (react to) because it has given you the material wherewithal to live well (prudent).

The Twelfth House: Soul Growth & Undoing, Privacy & Secrets

The twelfth house is a cadent house. Its natural sign ruler is Pisces and its natural planetary ruler is Neptune.

As per vedic astrology, the sixth lord is posited in the 12th. Sixth is the house of illness. The 12th is the house of hospitalization. Moon governs water and the stomach. Other influences are not mentioned in the question. So, generally speaking, whenever the Major period, sub period and sub-sub period of moon is on, you have to be cautious with water borne diseases relating to stomach.

There is nothing bad or good in placements. The houses 6,8 &12 are supposed to be bad houses and the lords positioned in houses spoil that house where they are placed. Since 6th lord is placed in 12th, it is good. (two negatives make positive)

With Cap moon/12th house, there's a strange (and sometimes volatile, sometimes docile, but always unpredictable) mixture of emotion + sensitivity to the occult + intuition + an attraction to anything that promises access to "other-worldly" presences, i.e., drugs, substance abuse, sensory deprivation, including eating disorders, new-age diets, fasting, meditation techniques and the practice of magick.

One of the manifesations of energy for Cap moon/12th house is an access to higher states, hidden states and deeper conditions of consciousness than most people are aware exists. This hidden aspect (an aspect not of the SUBconscious, but more accurately reflecting a SUPRAconscious) may be so prominent in the life of this individual that he (or she) may be only vaugely aware that the journey thru life is really a journey to acquire access to transformed states of beingness, or, at the very least, for the possibility of transforming life itself.

Throughout the lifetime of this individual, there will be a dynamic and confronting relationship (interaction) between the spiritual forces of neptune and saturn, such that neither influence ever achieves "balance", never achieves "equity", never achieves real co-existence, and never achieves "completion" in and of themselves. This doesnt mean that completion is denied for this life, but it might mean that completion, when it's present, dominates the life energy in which all things "feel" good. On the other hanbd, when it's NOT present, (which is most of the time), it doesnt "feel" good anymore. This dance between the feelings of euphoria, on one hand, and distress on the other, is the motor that drives the engine. The power for such a life driven by an invisible world of MIND more than by any visible reality, is fueled by self-expression, self-awareness, self-actualization and self-consciousness. The key-word, of course, being SELF.
