How long is he out for cuz i drafted him in my fantasy team and though he was gonna be ready for the opening day

He is out for most, if not all, 2007. You can either cut him now and hope to pick up a good pitcher off waivers or find someone else that does not know he is out for the year.
Offer him in trade to every team (in Yahoo!) in your league. Someone may take you up on it.
It is worth picking up a Street & Smith magazine before you do your draft next year. Good Luck!

They shut him down for the whole year. the Twins are just gonna get him ready for 2008. That sucks too, because he was/ is sooo damn fun to watch pitch! I hope he comes back with the same stuff he had last year in 08, he really could be the best pitcher is all of baseball ina few years... bold statement I know, but I watched he and Santana pitch last year and there really was no drop off from Johan to Liriano!
