The vertex of a parabola is at (-4,-3). If one x- intercept is -11, what is the other x- intercept?

How do you set this up in an equation?

I'll give you a clue, but that is all...
parabolas are symmetrical, therefore, by definition, each "side" is a mirror image of the other and so is each intercept

the other x-intercept is 3 because the vertex is found along the axis of symmetry...so the x value in the vertex is in between the two x-intercepts of the parabola.
