i had a horrible day today. everything that could possible go wrong, went wrong. i've been soo stressed out i donno how to relax!
anybody has a good idea? or a funny joke? or just anything???

I had a day like that yesterday, and today was much better. Hang in there. Hey-I told my son that he would have to get shots when he turns five next week, and he told me he was going to scream like a little girl. It was really funny.

YOU TOO?? I don't have anything funny to say, but I do have empathy. Today was such a weird day! I've been so high-strung ever since I got a horrible caller that didn't get off the phone until after 10 (I answered the phone a little after 8), and he wanted to talk to my supervisor and my manager! So ever since he hung up I dreaded the ringing of the phone.

But anyway, the day is over now, and I'm just so glad tomorrow's Friday! It's also payday, so that automatically makes for a better day. I hope you have a better day tomorrow, too. I'm sorry your day was so bad. Just take a hot bubble bath or drink some champagne or eat some chocolate. Take a deep breath, too. Good luck with tomorrow. And remember, this too shall pass!

I feel ur pain. I snapped at someone today and I feel so bad about it b/c they did nothing to deserve it. But I didn't feel well.

Here's a tip--I know in my case it was probably all the candy I have been eating since Valentine's Day. Sugar affects me really badly. Chocolate also has caffeine in it, and combined with sugar, if you are sensitive to it, it can hit a person pretty hard with the jitters.

The same can be said of carbohydrates in excess if they are refined, such as white bread, or if you drink a lot of caffeine such as espresso drinks (not latte) or energy drinks.

This may sound like a buncha junk but trust me, it isn't. I know it from myself. People tried to tell me I was depressed or just needed to calm down, but I have been a nervous wreck all week and then realized what I was eating. Now I have to go and eat chicken and stop it with the sweets.

Aside from that, some medication can help, such as beta-blockers or tranquilizers (for a short time at a low dose) or any anti-anxiety med. You could check with a doc on that. They have helped me a lot in the past.

Hope you feel better. Remember, tomorrow is Friday! And one more thing--praying helps me a lot, also! God is always there for me!

Same here. I'm so stressed out from school. I've been studying so much for my Anatomy class. I have two test next week and then two test the week after. I also have 3 papers for 3 different classes to work on!!! I'm going crazy!!! Hopefully tomorrow is a better day for both of us. I need a big break from all of this studying!!!

Yesterday was a beautiful day. Totally uneventful. Except a fool ran a stop light at 50 mph, deliberately, and almost killed me. I would have died for sure. Smashed, every bone in my body broken, dead in the street, D.O.A. And the beautiful day would have gone on without me. Friends and family would have gotten phone calls. Gasps. Tears. And me getting cut up on an autopsy table, then put in the ground. It was close, like a half second. I am still shook up. Really shook up.

go into the bathroom and take a nice long hot bath or shower. take care of yourself. my brother sent me an email with a joke.

this lady was in line at a store where she layed her perchases on the line. she baught.
1/2 gallon of milk
1 loaf of bread
1 pound of bacon
and a coke

there was a drunk standing behind her and he said. "you must be single"
the woman thinking how could he tell i am single by what i am buying is weird.
she turned to the drunk and said "how did you know that"
the man looked at her and said "because you are ugly"

girl i hear ya, i had a bad day too! sometimes when i need to relax and de-stress. i wait for my son and husband to go to bed and i listen to music or i come here
