I don't remember him being charged with assault. But, he became popular years ago when he was a regular on General Hospital. The early days of Luke and Laura.
About 7 years ago, I met him at an airport. He may act gay, but he was wonderful. He put on a little show for everyone and signed autographs. Most famous people wouldn't give us nobodys a second look. I thought he was a very nice person.
After meeting him in person, I really like him. What or who was he supposedly charged with assault for?

I think it was more like 1985 that he became unpopular. He's still wearing the same shorts.
