i have done ballet modern contemorary an now i break dance i'm 15 an i've been a dancer for 8 years i lift weights and am in pretty good shape gymnastics is some thing i really would like to try am i to old, i competted in national an state championships so i'm used to training 4-5 days a week for an hour a two each day but i dont really knoew any acrobatics?

Yes, you have a lot of talent, so I think you will learn gymnastics pretty quickly.

I think gymnastics would be an easy transition. If you're starting at 15 you are prob. too old for like Olympics and International meets. Because you're in dance the floor excersise would prob. come easiest. I you are strong you may want to try acrobatic gymnastics. It's not your typical bars, beam, vault, floor, it's just floor and you compete with 1-2 people in routines. It's hard to explain, so here's a link.

I am a gymnastics teacher. You are not too old to do gymnastics! Especially if you are fit and strong. Gymnastics is all about strength! I am 31 and can still do gymnastics so you can definately do it at 15!
