Yes, you can get pregnant if your menstrual cycle is only 21 days and your period is seven days. Ovulation happens for most women between ten and sixteen days before menstruation. With a very short cycle, like a 21 day cycle, you would want to be extra careful if you had sex while menstruating though, because ovulation could occur early enough that it could fertilize an egg.

You can learn more about your cycles on the web.

yes, definitely. The time that you conceive is in the middle of your cycle - 2 weeks after the first bleeding starts.

On a side note, you have heavy periods - most women don't bleed for this long, you would probably benefit from discussing this with your local doctor. Do you get lots of pain as well? If so, even more reason to do so.

Yes, you can definitely get pregnant. If you are not ready to have a child, I would suggest finding a safe method of birthcontrol. If you are interested in trying to have a baby, you should be able to without a problem.

Of course.

Your body spends about a week in every cycle preparing for a mature and fertilized ovum to implant in your uterine lining. WHen that doesn't happen, your body has to shed that lining in order to prepare a fresh bed for the next change.

Shedding that lining is menstruation.
