The internet is more important today...here's why

Phone -- old fashioned...it's been around, virtually unchanged, for over a century. Still useful, but a very old technology

Cell-Phone -- A derivitive of the phone. Cell phones are glorified cordless phones that can be used just about anywhere.......still uses the same copper for the "last mile" of communications

Internet: Communicate with anyone, just about anywhere. Send and recieve data for business to business (automation) applications. Self healing.....broken communications points are re-routed to the final destination. More and more uses are found for the internet everyday.........the internet has expanded into space. This too will see more uses as governments hands more control of space and space communications over the entrepreneurs.....including for use in space travel in the future.
