go racing after drinking?

Lived in Hawaii for a while and they had a drag strip on the west side of Oahu. One night they were doing amateur bracket racing and it started to rain. After a while the rain stopped and in order to dry the track quicker than the equipment alone could, they invited people to go to the parking lot and bring their cars around to the track and just keep looping to help heat and dry the track. Problem is this was a Saturday night, amateur night, and not much unlike a monster truck ralley ,the crowd was hammered and just a step away from de-evolving (word?). They even told people to "get the kids" load them up in the pickups and "come on down!!!". My mouth must have fell agape in disbelief becuase a couple of the locals looked at me funny. Anyway seemed like a good topic to share this story. No real point to it. Ciao

It's not good to race at anytime unless you're on a race track. It's especially dangerous after you've been drinking. Of course, you already know that or you wouldn't be asking, right?

1) Illegal drinking and driving
2) If you mean racing as in for pinks or something on the streets, it's also ILLEGAL!
